Knights Defeat Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs in Tobacco Bowl PDF Print E-mail

altThe Lancaster Christian Knights overpowered the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs in the 2013 25th Tobacco Bowl in Trousdale County. The final score in the half of play was 13-0.

In the first quarter a Lancaster Christian fumble was recovered by the Bulldogs #22 Dakota Dickens.  In the next drive Lancaster Christian threw a 40 yard touchdown pass and the PAT was missed making the score 6-0 to end the first quarter. In the second quarter The Bulldogs showed some good signs of life, leading off the second with a 10 yard gain by #21 Michael Tirjan. The Knights came back with a 15 yd touchdown. The Bulldogs run game was looking good in second quarter to start it off with a 15 yard run by #45 Jeff Nelson.  However they had some turnovers that cost them in game.  Final score Lancaster Christian 13 Red Boiling Springs 0.

Next week will go to Jackson County to play the Blue Devils for their first game of the regular season on Friday night August 23rd.
